  PROJECT _ TOW TRUCK

 Patterson Auto Body is in the process of restoring it's International Tow Truck. This truck has been on the site from the 50's and has not been used for the past 20 years. It's time to recycle the old truck and bring it back to usable condition. These pages will display the restoration steps.

The original truck is extremely rusted & we are looking for a donor truck that we can put the Ortiz Wrecker Body on.

Barry Ortiz verified this unit to be one of the original style his father built in the early 50's and could recondition the wrecker body.

We then found a 1949 International cab & chassis in decent shape to replace the original. It was completely disassembled & sandblasted down to bare metal. The pics show how much rust repair is needed, most didn't show before paint removal.
